Ten years from now

In ten years of course I am not completely sure where I will be, but there are many aspirations I have. After college I hope to move to a large city and work in the business world maybe in sales or some other similar position. I eventually would not mind moving back to Columbia mainly to become a part of the family business, but becuase I enjoyed growing up there and I would like to experience it at a different stage in my life. Job wise at this point I hope to be involved in real estate managment and possibly development. I also would like to be somewhat of a entrepreneur and have a small business or two for other sources of income. I plan on being active in sports and basically just having fun with what I'm doing.

week 2 blog

Now, I'd like you to respond. What do you think the title of the video means? How does Web 2.0 affect someone who is ready to enter the workforce? How does it affect people who are already in the workforce? What do you think it means when it says that we will have to rethink everything?

I think that this video shows us how futuristic our world already is. Although we say computers do this and do that, we are training these machines and teaching them more and more everyday. Whethere this is good or bad, i do not know, but it is somewhat scary to think about. Web 2.0 affects someone who is ready to enter the workforce becuase it enables them to communicate better, work more effeciently, and learn at a faster rate, which will in turn allow them to be better workers. People who are already in the workforce might also obtain similar positive affects, but many may have to learn more about the web, take classes, and become more technologically savy before they can us it to its full potential. When it says we will have to rethink everything I believe they are just letting us know that the world continues to change. We can not one day decide to change how the world works, but in turn be open to small changes that occur around us every day.

introduction

I am a senior at Clemson University, but i plan on graduating a semester late. I have enjoyed my time at Clemson and plan on continuing to do so. I love all sports especially football, baseball, basketball, golf, and snow skiing. I will watch any sport except for soccer because I find it quite boring. I am a Sport Management major and do not plan on using my major when I graduate. I would like to go into some part of the business world, basically whatever interests me at the time I will do. I am 21 years old and I am from Columbia SC. I am looking forward to this class and would like to make the best grade possible.
